Project Manager – EVSE & Turnkey Energy Projects (Full-time – Kearny, NJ)
The Project Management team at INF manages construction, contractors, and partners,
administers RFPs, manages contracts, and maintains close communication with project owners.
The core function of the Project Manager is to manage subcontractors and construction teams
during installation of their assigned project to ensure construction is completed as planned and
on-schedule. They will spend time in both the INF offices and serve as an authority on-site as
required. The applicant must have proven experience managing construction projects and
contractors and be a well-rounded team player with strong organizational and communication
skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the sales and design team through preliminary design and design development
through coordination with subcontractors, partners, and vendors. - Manage detailed RFP processes to bid projects.
- Participate in Final Design Reviews and lead Construction Kick-off Meetings.
- Develop and distribute construction packages which include:
- Summary and notifications on project process to owner.
- Owner notifications.
- Detailed communication protocol instructions.
- INF health and safety plan.
- Complete project scope.
- Equipment documentation.
- Sign-off documents
- Fully manage construction from kick-off to close-out and transitioning the project back
to the business development associate for post-sale activities. During construction,
observe progress on-site, manage subcontractors, maintain periodic communication
with project owner, and address any issues. - Maintain fully accurate and complete project files and documentation.
- Contribute toward the continued development of tools, templates, and resources for
Project Management team. - Manage relationships with contractors.
- Fully organize and manage the execution of installation and construction of turnkey
projects, while communicating with the team and owner each step of the way. - Support the project accounting and billing processes.
- Ensure on-time delivery of high quality, detailed, error-free products.
- Knowledge of Electrical/EV charging supply equipment
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment, building commissioning, and equipment retrofit
principles a plus. - Proven experience working with contractors and managing installation groups through
construction. - Proven experience with construction phasing, scheduling (software), and resource
management. - Experience with client relationship management a plus.
- Knowledge of construction codes and principles.
- Electrician/Electrical Engineering experience a plus.
- Knowledge of utility incentive programs and equipment qualification requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in the engineering or construction field AND 2+ years of experience in
project management. - OSHA trained/certified preferred
- Detail-oriented, organized, and focused time management.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite, Monday.com, QuickBooks Online.
- Ability to work under tight timelines and schedules.
